Recent examples of work undertaken by Tangible Consulting are:
Niche Food producer:
Our client, a niche food producer, and winner of multiple great taste awards, based in Northern Ireland wanted to grow their business in export markets to GB and the Republic of Ireland. Tangible Consulting worked with the client through a re-branding phase identifying key trends in the market in relation to competitor traits and expectations from major buying groups. This resulted in a complete overhaul of existing materials from hard packaging to social media campaigns. Following this exercise Tangible Consulting made representation to potential buyers and set up proactive introductions with buyers. As a direct result of this activity the client tangibly secured a double digit increase in turnover.
Bespoke Joinery manufacturer:
Our client, a manufacturer of bespoke joinery for the residential and commercial sector wished to move from servicing their traditional markets, which had stagnated, to new markets which represented higher margins. Whilst our client had all the necessary skills to manufacture higher end products they could not position themselves in the market place to get the opportunity to even quote for new jobs. Working with Tangible Consulting's assistance the client began to target sub-contract opportunities with larger firms that did enjoy the reputation in the target markets. The result of this was the client began to grow a portfolio of high profile jobs completed that allowed it to then pro-actively target high end customers on its own merits. The tangible results from this is the client is now considered to be an active player in their desired market enjoying margins that previously unachievable.
Sub Contract Engineering:
Our client, a specialised sub contract manufacturer in the Engineering sector, providing services to large firms in Northern Ireland, had grown with his customers and serviced their demand diligently through good times. However as competition increased in the market and orders began to decline they realised they had allowed themselves to become overly dependent on a small number of clients. This presented problems for the company because if one or two customers stopped using their services they would be in serious trouble and would have to lay off staff. Tangible Consulting worked with the owner/manager and sales director to assess which other markets they could be servicing and where else their skills were in demand. This resulted in Tangible Consulting drawing up a potential customer hit list in the UK and Ireland to be targeted. Tangible Consulting then arranged for the company to attend business development meetings with these potential customers. The Tangible result of this work was the client bidding for, and winning, work with Multinational manufacturers and reducing their over-reliance on one or two customers locally.
